MY SERVICES

Hello, I offer a unique service to the Atlanta area - I teach people the basics of juggling in one session-lesson. I teach these skills in all types of settings to all types of people.

For National And International `Corporate' Events - I provide a session rich in the symbolism of juggling life's details, mixed with understanding the real benefits of learning juggling as part of an exercise routine involving body and mind. These sessions can bring a great kick-off to any event or break the sameness of endless meetings. The sessions bring fun, bonding and smiles and a new invigoration to any Corporate Function.

All of the same can be said for business or `office' sessions that I also offer to the public. Managers can stimulate that problem solving spirit and thinking with the `brain stimulation' of juggling. Benefit managers may also realize more of their goals by starting a part of the workforce on a healthy routine.

Obviously, doing a lesson-session with ANY sports TEAM - can perhaps provide just that little bit of better mental focus or eye-hand coordination - for success.

And finally, I provide the one contact for people in Atlanta to have a personal one on one, two on one, or more, manner to learning the individual sport of juggling.

LEARN TO JUGGLE - AGES 13-83 - SOLO&GROUPS&BUSINESS - 678-467-8650

Hello Atlanta - These are some new signs I've been putting up to encourage new folks to learn the ancient sport of Juggling. While this info is available on this website.... every once in awhile it's a good idea to review some basics about the services I offer.

`Homebase' for me is Woodstock - my lowest rates are found by coming to my location in Woodstock - normally at the Gazebo in City Park (Main Street and Arnold Mill). I also can `come to your location' normally for about 30 dollars extra.... sometimes more as Atlanta is a huge area.

Next - while nothing beats a one on one session - you personally can save money by learning to juggle with some friends - as I can easily give small groups the attention they need for juggling success.... you will find rates as low as 10 dollars per person on this page.

Lesson's normally take around an hour... give or take a few minutes and circumstances. I have all the equipment needed (balls) for lessons almost regardless of the size of your group. Lessons are FUN and I mix up the lesson so you are always learning new things about juggling methods.

Flash Juggling Lessons In Piedmont Park

On June 7th I took a bag of juggling balls to Piedmont Park with the sole intention of trying to get folks to let me teach them to juggle `in three minutes'..... what I'm calling a flash lesson ..... yes, it was free of course (got them to take my juggling card afterwards). So, would people believe it? Would they stop to learn to juggle in 3 minutes? - The answers to which were - they didn't really believe it but were curious.... and yes... of course... some did stop. Do you want to know what happened?

First, let me relate the idea behind this...... when I'm in the corporate setting I normally am able to get a fair percentage of folks into being the most basic of jugglers.... able to get three balls around at least once... with nothing more than `my voice and their observational skills' and usually about 1-2 minutes of personal `hands on teaching' as I go around a room. Additionally, I know from teaching scads of folks to juggle that `motivated to learn' folks do MUCH better at `getting it' - and can often get it in a VERY short period of time. That said, I figured it might be a challenge.

I approached each person as if I KNEW I could do it with them... almost a hypnotic confidence they could do it..... some got the vibe.

The Results

15 folks said `not now/no thanks' (estimated)

AND

6 Folks said - `really(?), okay'

Who didn't get it within 3-5 minutes

A distracted mother with kids around her

A guy from London in Atlanta for a wedding

A teen boy who nearly got it but not quite

Who DID get it within 3-5 minutes

A teen boy, a buddy of the teen boy that couldn't - this guy had tried before and gotten close... he was looking to do patterns with 5 minutes of instruction.

A young dad (30 perhaps) strolling in the park with in-laws and two carriages --- who excitedly said `I've always wanted to do this' as he came over. And, within 3-5 minutes, he was `doing it' with cellphone video proof by his party.

And, lastly, a perhaps late 20's female who immediately made clear I had 3 minutes as she needed to be home for her roommate to get in. Elated 5 minutes later she said when leaving `I'm going home and show off'.

Yepper - it was a fun time had by all. And, I tell this story to ask if you have tried like the teen boy and almost got juggling but not quite. Or, is juggling something you `always wanted to do'? Because if so, I'm nearly positive that participating in one of my lessons will put you over the top to achievement of becoming a juggler. Motivation being the key.

But, I also do this posting to encourage businesses and larger parties to also consider juggling as a bonding to recreational thing you can do for your enterprise. As encouraging your employees to succeed in areas they didn't think they could and aid in helping their focus and thinking out of the box cannot have a price put upon it.

Oh, in my personal juggling lessons - nearly all of which have the participant `get it' at some point of the lesson - we do more than just the 3 ball cascade pattern.... I also teach 2 balls with one hand... off the wall juggling..... bounce juggling.... and simple patterns. And, of course - juggling together with another person ---- something I also did with each Piedmont Park juggler............... The juggling seeds continue to grow.

Welcome To Juggle Atlanta

Hello, thanks for visiting my Juggling Blog.

As you can see - on this page above - I have complete written instructions on how to learn to juggle. In the sidebar you can find juggling resources you will want to check out if you are thinking of becoming a juggler.

Juggling has been around for at least 3,800 years and was depicted as early that date onto stones with pictures of women jugglers. Supposedly, juggling became suppressed after the fall of the Roman Empire; when jugglers became known as Gleemen and were thought to dabble in perhaps magic. However, the first circuses brought the unique skill again in front of the public for entertainment and wonder; where it has remained.

But, the skill still confounds many who try what appears to be a simple task - a simple pattern of movement of the arms and hands. And, the skill is simple. But, for many, if not most, it is a skill best learned in a one-to-one teaching method of teacher-student. Or students. Live teaching.

YES, You Can Learn For Only TEN DOLLARS!!

Starting in February 2013, I will hold `Group' Lessons in downtown Woodstock - at the City Park - at Noon on Saturdays - when the minimum number of those interested in learning to juggle for 10 dollars is reached. You will need to sign up prior as I limit this group size to 8 and I don't run the group on Saturdays in which less than 5 are signed up.

Sign up for the next session by contacting my e-mail with `Juggling For 10 Dollars' in the subject line at masters4ever@aol.com. The price is only TEN DOLLARS per person (persons over 11 only please), parents can sign up multiple kids-teens, as this class is for all ages.

This is a fun session and you will learn the basics of juggling with others like you. Families can sign up for this or solo individuals looking to knock `juggling' off their bucket list. Anyone can learn juggling - bring your best friend. I provide the balls during the training session so all you have to bring is yourself and the willingness to learn a new skill.
